      Re: Bemidji State Beavers: 2016-17

BSU has picked up a verbal from Charlie Combs of the Wenatchee Wild of the BCHL. He plays on the same line as Brendan Harris, who is also a Beaver recruit.

        Re: Bemidji State Beavers: 2016-17

The Beavs look for real. Defense is extremely solid, pushes everything to the outside and when they make a mistake bitzer stops everything. Very good on the PK as well as the PP. Finally showed a killer instinct tonight instead of playing conservatively with a lead. Its early in the year still but I think this team has a chance to make some noise come NCAA tourney time. Dominated the majority of the game tonight especially the third period. Outshot UAF 34-17

Watched the highlights after I got them posted to the BeaverPond's Facebook Page. Nice road win for the Beavers. The trip to Alaska is not an easy one, but now having a chance at a sweep os nice with Mankato coming up next week.

Another big win for the Beavs! Even though it doesn't technically count as a win.... Either way its another point separating us from Mankato in the standings and now 9 games undefeated in conference.

Nice weekend, Beavers! Five out of six WCHA points on the road in Mankato, still undefeated in WCHA play. Up next weekend, a home series with Northern Michigan.

I know this is early, but what a great start! The goals scored versus goals given up ratio is incredible. In WCHA action, the Beavers score 3.5 goals per every goal they give up (28-8, 10 games). Tech is decent and the next best with 1.72 goals per every goal given up (26-15, 8 games).

Another great weekend for the beavs. While it wasn't technically a sweep getting 5 out of 6 at the second place team (at the time) is huge. 10 games in conference undefeated. Coming into the weekend we were tied for third in pairwise. Should be interesting to see where we are there as well as in other rankings

At this level even ties hurt - now tied for 5th in the pairwise. I do see an increase coming up in the polls. Maybe 12th. But then we know what Trump thinks of the polls.
