Tiger struggling on the front nine. If he doesn't turn it around, he could very well miss the cut. Here's to hoping he lights up on the back nine and at least gets to E for the tournament to at least give him a chance at getting into contention this weekend.

I'm sure the network is spinning their prayer wheels. I watched the early coverage and it was exclusively a retrospective on his four green jackets and live footage of him practicing iron shots. This was while other pairs were playing.

It'll be a buzzkill if Tiger doesn't make the cut. Tiger currently at +4 through 11, with the cutline at +5.

Tiger in the water again at 12. Very good chance that he will be on the wrong side of the cutline going into the last third of the course.

FWIW, regardless of how you feel about Tiger, him being in contention is good for the game.

That being said, it doesn't look like Tiger will be in the mix this weekend...barring a comeback here in the final six holes.

Yeah, he is done for contending in this one. He would need to shoot something like 66-67 on the weekend to have a shot now. I just dont see it happening. Maybe at the US Open.

So I'll ask again, will you admit there is no official course rating? This is what we have been going back and forth about for the last few days, but you seem to have dug in your heels.

There are, of course, estimates of the course rating, the accuracy of which are highly questionable and subject to scrutiny.
