        Eh, fuggehdaboudit.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

So I'm refereeing in a soccer tournament this weekend, like I have done many times since I started refereeing when I was 13, and come to find out that two retired referees are battling skin cancer. It was a bit of a startling thing, I've spent many weekends (and weeks) outside in the summer sun for 12+ hours for soccer. Now part of me is worried.

                  Morning, Lodge.

Meeting up with a buddy today for some super-duper major 12 or 15 tap Sam Adams' tap takeover at church. I guess it will be a certified Guinness world record or something, as every Old Chicago in the nation is doing it. I'm curious to see what they are bringing to the table. Also celebrating my niece's bday tomorrow, even though it was really last week. Schedules got all tied up due to the holiday and such.

                    Good Morning, Lodge!

Might go to work today to print a banner that I am getting for free. Yes, my manager approved. Need to get it done before the event next weekend.

Well, yesterday on my last Friday unemployed I made my second career hole-in-one. It was a really good time.

Beautiful weather at the lake, but I'm heading home today. Have some things to make sure I get done before I start Monday. Real World here I come!

Had a good afternoon at church. A couple buddies actually showed up, right at opening, so we were the guinea pigs of sorts for the beers (got standard flights*, not full beers, so we could have all the Sam Adams available). Manager was tossing out some swag, took our pic for promo purposes and such, fun times.

*Flight: a serving that consists of a number of 4oz glasses of different beers. Standard flight is 4 glasses of 4 oz each, although they can range from 1 glass to 9 glasses, in my experience.

Isn't the point of those pics to bring in more customers? As in, Hey, look at these cute girls at this bar! Maybe if we go there, we'll run into some high class talent like that ourselves!

If it helps, I was probably the ugliest of the bunch. Due to the weather and the lack of fanboy-ism of Sam Adams, it wasn't that crowded at all today. So, take what you can get.
