          Pretty simple solution. Ban the anti-vaxers kids from public space. They're a deliberate HAZMAT.

          If my kid was affected by one of them I would sue the f-cking superstitious morons back to 1500 where they belong. A lot of them are rich, Marin County New Age windbags, so hopefully people are following them around hoping to get sick to get into those deep pockets.

          For the millionth time: money and intelligence are independent of one another. In later generations they are, if correlative at all, inversely related.

            I'll put this in the religion thread, too.

            Ken Ham says atheists prayed for his Ark Encounter to fail.

            1. I didn't pray for anything. I just thought it was a ****ty idea.
            2. The Ark Encounter is on par with the World's Biggest Ball of Yarn as a tourist attraction. You see it once, and that's it.
            3. The jobs it promised? Only if you believe in creation.
            4. It promised to bring new tourism to the county it's in. Still the same number of restaurants, etc as before the **** thing was erected.
            5. Said county should get their money back.
            6. I saw Ken Ham once when I was a child. He blames belief in evolution for all of society's ills.

                          Ordinarily this would be welcome. Let those losers put their arguments out there somewhere other than blogs and social media. The best test of truth, after all, "is the power of the thought to get itself accepted in the competition of the market." But it will probably just cause school boards to deal with a traffic jam of boneheads in those districts populated by droolers and evangelicals.

                            Time for smart people to secede. Private schools teaching the reality that religion is a pre-scientific way for primitive and ignorant minds to understand the world, explicable by theories in anthropology, sociology, and psychology. Start teaching what we all figured out but were too polite / PC to say out loud.

                            The animals should not be permitted to hold the humans back any longer.

                            Let the public schools fail. Go into the ghettos (urban and rural) and find the few human mutants born to animals and rescue them. Let the rest live in their pig sty. Leave them behind.

                              Juno nears the GRS.

                              Closest approach is 10 pm tonight normal people time. The actual feed will come much later after transmission and processing -- around Friday.

                              At closest Juno will be only 2000 miles above the cloud tops. To give perspective, the radius of Jupiter is 43,441 miles.
