Harvard just secures the services of a pretty big fish who plays for Don Mills out of Nova Scotia for 2018. Wyllum Deveaux (LC) commits to Harvard.

The Crimson breaking news of Boston's tampering with a player Nashville has the rights to?

Nashville maintains “the exclusive rights of negotiation” for Vesey’s services through Aug. 15, but after that, Vesey will be able to negotiate with the other 29 teams in the league.

Vesey told The Boston Herald on Monday that he thinks the Boston Bruins will definitely be on his list when that time comes. Bruins general manager Don Sweeney ’88, a former Harvard defenseman, was seen chatting with Vesey for a few minutes near the end of the event.
If he does sign with Boston, if I'm Nashville I ask for compensation based off that.
Former Harvard Hockey broadcaster on 95.3 FM and WHRB.org.
          Go Crimson!

I am reading a very interesting Crimson piece about Ted Donato, Jimmy Vesey and the team's recent history, which I recommend.

Looks like Vesey signed with Buffalo.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

His rights were traded to Buffalo. Can't sign until August I believe

.....thanks for the clarification. So, Buffalo’s just taking a shot at him then. I saw it on the elite prospects transaction page but didn’t look any further............... The Sabres sent Nashville a third-round pick in exchange for the exclusive right to negotiate with Vesey before Aug. 15. http://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/06/2...85thesportshub

Adam Fox gets drafted in the 3rd round. He's going to be a great college player - maybe the best of this year's class when you take into consideration his likelihood to stay 4yrs and the quality he brings.

Surprised that Krys went ahead of him, especially since Fox outperformed in nearly every way imaginable this year on the ice and on the big stages (except at the combine)....

Sounds like a great kid. Understands his strengths and what he needs to work on before coming to Cambridge. His thoughts on why Harvard is now a destination for talented recruits was interesting. Sounded a lot like what I heard in the 80's when we were recruiting the likes of Laney and Don Sweeney.

Certainly gives you an up close look at the program and some of the ups and downs. There is still some nagging inconsistencies that probably drive the coaches crazy but given the state of the program in '13-'14, it is admirable that they have come together and redefined what it means to be a Crimson hockey player. Vesey and Criscuolo deserve a ton of credit. And kudos to Teddy for trying different methods and inviting that Navy SEAL to get the players on one page. Hopefully this work will pay off in a national championship run at some point in the next five years.

BTW, Shackleton and Strengthfinders 2.0 are great books and have been influential in my career. Highly recommend both.

We bring in a couple of older forwards who will be more seasoned/ready to the make jump.

Kerfoot, Szeto, and Pelton-Byce are more dynamic forwards.
