Good to see the Twins wasting no time getting blown out by WAS. Now I don't have to wish I was able to watch the game.

How about this straight steal of home by Jacoby Ellsbury:

I see the Twins refuse to win this game. Even after taking a lead in the 15th.

Maybe they are hoping that if they can win in 18 innings it will count for 2 victories? Ridiculous...

Replay in Sox - Astros game is going to overturn the neighborhood play at 2nd.

              Can I hate replay?

Brandon Phillips got drilled in the finger by a Noah Snydergaard fastball last night.

To be frank, I'm surprised Phillips' finger is not broken and still attached.

                  Fun stat:

Andrew McCutchen hit 3 HR in 5 at-bats on Tuesday.

The Atlanta Braves have hit 3 HR as a team through 547 at-bats this season.

Arrieta's streak of 52 and 2/3rds innings of scoreless ball at Wrigley has come to an end today. It was the second longest streak in MLB history. Also his streak of 24 quality starts in a row ended today. MLB record is 26 games.

That quality start statistic is as useful as my appendix. Cubs up 7-1. Jake soon to be 5-0.

In a very late night news dump, Marlins 2B Dee Gordon suspended 80 for failed drug test.

That whole AB was painful. On the prior pitch he'd fouled a ball of his leg and almost had to leave the game.

I guess I made the right choice not being born with major league baseball ability.

Bartolo Colon, CC Sabathia, and Prince Fielder all continue to give me hope that if I wanted to, I too could still play in the MLB.

Watching Colon actually gives me more pleasure than watching Harvey, deGrom or Thor, for just that reason. I am actually more graceful than someone on a major sport roster.

More evidence proving my theory that baseball players are the dumbest of them all.
