Re: UML Recruiting, 2017+
It was mentioned before, but I hadn't put together the list yet to help prove the point. Here's where we would be for 2018, as currently constituted and with the current commits...
I'm going to assume (for now) that Marin does indeed get redshirted this year. I think when you start seeing it this way, you realize how much work is needed in recruiting right now.
18/19 roster
Defense (6):
Senior: Avni Berisha, Niklas Folin, Jacob Townsend
Juniors: Mattias Goransson
Sophomore: Cale List, Trevor Zins
Freshmen:
Forwards (10):
Seniors: Ryan Dmowski, Nick Master, Connor Wilson
Juniors: Keith Burchett, Kenny Hausinger, Guillaume LeClerc, Ryan Lohin, Colin O’Neill, James Winkler
Sophomores: Nicholas Marin
Freshmen:
Goalies (4):
Seniors: Sean Cleary, Chris Hernberg
Junior: Garrett Metcalf, Tyler Wall
Sophomore:
Freshmen:
This leaves us at 20 on the roster, with the class breakdown for 2017/2018 being:
Seniors: 8
Juniors: 9
Sophomores: 3
Freshmen: 0Monty

First non-2016 commit since November 2015. Wow.
The 5-9, 160lb Russell, ON native is a smart two-way centerman who also has strong hockey sense and playmaking ability. He simply has a never-ending motor as he wont blow you away with flashy play but his “never quit” mentality wears down opposing defenders. Levesque doesn’t let his lack of size keep him out of the tough areas of the ice as he scores a lot of goals from within 10 feet.
