In addition to the voting and collector's glass giveaways, the season will feature a number of tributes at select games, a new third jersey in a throwback style (to be worn first December 9 vs. Merrimack) and more. The 50th Anniversary logo was unveiled in July at the annual Season Ticket Member BBQ and has been installed at center ice to commemorate the anniversary all season long.

That's all I got... I heard nothing definitive other than a vague statement. Note that what I heard and what Scott said doesn't contradict.

I was given no affirmations... Let's just say something was suggested about a certain 5-letter 4-letter word.

Edit: this was an implied thing based on response to a statement I made so I don't even know if it's true
