Borek got Hill and Kyle Smith to commit in March 2009, an act that so touched Gaudreau that he committed to Greg Cronin/Albie O'Connell at Northeastern in February 2010
        The Souza record:
        15-16 10th place
        16-17 10th place
        17-18 11th place
        18-19 8th place
        19-20 9th place
        20-21 10th place
        21-22 9th place
        22-23 10th place

Are Glassboro and Lumberton close to one another? Wow, great names for hockey home towns!

No surprise that Johnny Hockey is a year younger, but got to Div 1 a year sooner than those two.

And the rest, as they say, is history!!! Hoping he'll play in the second annual BU/BC Ice Bucket charity game this summer (if they have one) Fun to see the pros out there; last year our Stevie Moses played. Of course I wear my UNH Hockey garb just fer fun. (but leave the pom pom home )
I'm just here for the hockey...

              Ouch.

Saviano/Collins was terrific. Collins came pretty much as advertised, but Saviano was really a pleasant surprise, after barely playing as a frosh (he was a year ahead of his Reading teammate). Way back when it seemed like UNH really knew what they were doing out on the recruiting trails. It's been a long time since that feeling surrounded the program.

Saviano got into 16 games as a frosh, but not much ice time, you know, because he was competing with seniors like Matt Swain, Corey-Joe Ficek, Johnny Rogers, and Jeff Haydar. Some things never change for UNH hockey.

6'1", 175 lbs. left-shot defenseman from Spruce Grove Alberta played in Canadian Junior Hockey League NHL Prospects game in January, 2016. Drafted in 6th round of 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. Have heard he likes to jump up into the offensive rush, has decent vision and good on the power play. Last season he took a lot of penalties (102 PIM). Grizzlys assistant coach Dustin Borbandy has said: "He sees the ice really well. Very agile, smart with the puck. He's very mobile and jumps into the rush. He's got a great, great shot and he's a huge asset when he uses those."
