Bump!! I can't wrap my head around Gwoz taking a HS coaching job. Does anyone have the dirt on that?

Re: ALL THINGS DENVER--XL--This one's for Old Pio

Monty and North Eastern's Madigan on USCHO podcast tonight. Madigan basically accused Monty of tampering with Szmatula and wouldn't release his Letter of Intent.
Szmatula stayed 2 years at North Eastern then wanted out. Madigan implied the same thing. Blocked him from transferring to DU and Hockey East teams.

Szmatula is now sitting out a year at Minnesota, where by the way he will be an "overage" player the same type Lucia is trying to get rid of.

Howdy gang! I will be in Denver next weekend for work and saw you guys have a home game on the 23rd. Should I buy a ticket ahead of time or do you think my odds are good buying one at the door? I'll be missing my own team's game and figured that even though I'm away from home, it doesn't mean I can't watch a college hockey game.

You shouldn't have any problem getting a ticket at the door, there are still over 1000 available for that game against Duluth.

                  Enjoy!

Solid 5-3 win tonight over WMU, Q with 2 goals!! Per Heisenberg he is coming in Fall 2017.

                      Friday's Stars
                      First Star: Quentin Shore (Denver)
                      Second Star: Troy Terry (Denver)
                      Third Star: Matt VanVoorhis (Denver)

Broadcast quality was excellent last night (watched on my computer.) First from ASN that I have seen. They did have dead air at times with no Stickneyesque banter.

Frustrating result tonight. This team really struggles to get it done with a narrow lead. The work ethic seems to drop off just enough to let the opponent sneak back in. Hats off to the Broncos for working hard all weekend. They were incredibly close to getting two ties on the road against a more talented team.

                          2nd star: Matt Marcinew

Fleming and Haftner --1st and 3rd.

Agree with Magness Man--frustrating. At least the power play scored this weekend.

                          2nd line 2 goals
                          3rd line 3 goals
                          4th line 2 goals

Patrick is now playing for the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) as he was traded by Ottawa to Nashville last week.
