As much as he would make a very good Coach in the NHL...his niche is in College Hockey, he's done all the work needed to get to the top...and as his former Head Coach (Shawn Walsh) at Maine said...he's a Coach on the ice and saw that Montgomery had the tools then as he has proven in the USHL and in Div.1 Hockey. Denver's gain.

Anyone know anything about Joachim Weberg? He's a former Denver recruit who just recently committed to Brown. Can't find much info on him other than his stat lines from prep and juniors.

I remember he committed when Gwoz was the coach and was expected a couple of years ago.

Texan Ryan O'Reilly (forward, 6' 183 lbs) committed to DU for 2019. Born 3/21/00, played Elite U16 for Dallas Stars and 7 games for Madison Capitals last year. Had decommitted from Omaha.

ICYMI DU's 9 seniors graduated with a cumulative 3.63 GPA!

And in case you wondered, there are 112 days (16 weeks) until DU's exhibition game.

DU fans should be happy. Denver Post reports Terry, Borgstrom, Jaillet, and Hammond all returning. Gambrell still a question mark.

Honestly, it's impossible to predict success transitioning from college to an NHL head coaching job.
I think he'd be a good NHL coach, but you really don't know for sure because college coaches hardly ever get NHL head coaching jobs (I think Hakstol and Brooks are the only ones?).
