i would think not. This one is about in the tank and we do not need him to get hurt if it gets chippy

          Period ends thankfully.
That may have been our worst period of the year. Harvard is good, but we put up no resistance.
Three goals from inside three feet. That cannot happen.
I would guess that Kazdorf will get some ice time in the third period. Hackett has seen enough. (and he wasn't to blame on any of the four goals).
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

And although the forwards may have missed a few back checking assignments, this was from my viewpoint a complete defensive corp that just did not skate to the puck with any intent. Harvard beat them to every loose puck, won every battle on the boards and set up all their own chances. if this is how we will play them during the ECAC season, the games will not even be this close. Our forwards have come up ice well but Harvard's defense has taken away most of the lanes to pass and forced us to the outside. We have not extended them the same. We have allowed them to gain the zone and then criss cross until they get a free puck in close. Cam has done what he could but all 6 defensemen have not. We have been outshot and the troubling think is as you mentioned, most of their shots are coming from 3-5 feet from the goal.

RPI women just tied up the game with UNH 1-1 about 6 mins into the third. Gruschow scored and now has all four goals for the Engineers this weekend (these two teams tied 3-3 yesterday).

Even our energy guys who have played so well the last ten games have not done anything tonight.
