I would guess this didn't make them too happy.

          Only 42,xxx in attendance today.

In 5 games in Williamsport, PA has played in front of about 190k fans combined. That's... incredible.

Japan now leads 13-10, heading to bottom 3rd.

That's right, not even halfway through and they've tied the record for runs in the championship game set in 1947.

Like the announcers said, this is one of the few LLWS games where fans will see a typical Little League game.

Although, even I can't remember playing in a game past coach pitch that was this high scoring by both sides.

PA may need two 10 run innings.

                    Japan polishes it off 18-11.

Good to still see some smiles on the PA kids. They played some pretty fantastic baseball through the tourney.

I think people probably were scared of the travel/parking logistics especially after yesterday which made for a bit less. Plus tomorrow is the first day of school etc.

Great job to the Pennsylvania team. Fantastic. Anyway, as a coach of youth sports, how could you not plan ahead and save a few innings for a pitcher or two? C'mon coach.

Well, one of those "Do I waste them to get there or save them and possibly regret not getting there" dilemma.

I also don't think they planned on giving up almost as many runs in the championship as they did the entire summer combined. They ran a stat that said they had only given up 23 runs through 22 games or something like that coming into today.

Heinlein (SP?) was their #2 or #3 pitcher...he just got tagged pretty good by Japan.
