    Facts:
    2014 - 2015 Preseason Poll
    UNH picked 5th pre-season and finished 8th (18 scholarships)
    UConn picked 12th pre-season and finished 9th (10 scholarships)

UNH underachieved UConn overachieved, based on 2014-2015 results, UNH would be going nowhere fast, UConn would be heading in the right direction.

Don't let facts get in the way though, spew out whatever makes you happy.

I think you are having trouble with the concept of what is a fact and what is an opinion as it relates to the original post you quoted.

Adding another fact in will only confuse the issue Nick.

Fact: UConn lost six of its last seven games in 2014-2015.

Opinion: UConn is going nowhere fast in 2015-2016.

Fact: Despite a rocky (understandable) start, UNH had the nation's longest winning streak in D1 this season (8 straight) which included winning two big ones over UConn down the stretch when it mattered the most.

Opinion: UConn will have a better season than last.

              Fact: the coaches over-valued UNH.

Opinion: they were all high. By poll time they knew UNH was fielding an untested freshman goalie never projected to be THE man. Only two experienced D and very little proven O. That must have been some good weed.

I'm pretty sure the coaches aren't spending a whole lot of time with their "ballots" for these polls. They are hockey coaches first, and are not making predictions or setting preseason odds for a living (*insert throwaway BC gambling joke here*).

While we're at it ... how shocking is it that a BC legend has his name front & center on the new Plainfield Park casino? Answer? Not very.

You know Chuck that hadn't occurred to me. Lots of advertising for new Plainfield Casino and Mr. Heisman's restaurant right now.

Funniest thing you've posted in months.

                        C-H-C,

Do you have any additional info on this guy? Is an interview in the works? At least to me, he's a bit of a mystery.

                        Thanks!

Bit undersized offensive defenseman. Would have put up bigger numbers in BCHL, but went to USHL. Played for god-awful team, and so had weak numbers, and team worst +/- (Unh recruit Aaron O'neill was second worst in half a season ).

For this late in offseason he is a decent fill with upside. Has 4 or 5 upside. Probably a bit like Kapstad.

Time for Souza and Stewart to hit the 00 festival with tons of offers. Especially on D.

                          The Souza record:
                          15-16 10th place
                          16-17 10th place
                          17-18 11th place
                          18-19 8th place
                          19-20 9th place
                          20-21 10th place
                          21-22 9th place
                          22-23 10th place
