Going to work at a fundraising event tonight with the family. Hope I can snare a sit-down role like I did last year - the replaced ankle is flaring up lately. Last year I took credit card info from people so they could then bid on stuff. That would be great for me again, and no, I'm not going to harvest the data and then sell it later.

I am sore and happy. I had so much fun at the Michigan Softball Academy last night. Got to do different drills including learning the basic form to pitch fast pitch and trying my hand at slap hitting. Followed that up with dinner, drinks and getting out bid on all the silent auction items I was interested in.

I can't wait to do that again next year.

Working from home this afternoon. Have a contractor coming out to give me a quote to replace my soffits. Should have done it when we had siding done last year, but it was an oversight. The wood ones I have are rotten in a few places where there used to be leaks, I was going to replace them myself, but once I took a closer look, it is a bigger job than I originally thought. Called the guy that did our siding last year, he did good work, and was great to work with, so I figured I'd go to him first for a quote.

HAZMAT certified, again. Tedious BS tutorials, but necessary for my job. Gorgeous weekend for weather, and I was dumb enough to plan spring cleaning for tomorrow. At least there's the Derby.
