Whatever it is, it is great to see Scott playing well.
Tough to say. When I looked at the rosters I didn’t see many names I recognized from D1. 3rd, 4th liners from D1 & CHL? Maybe 1st, 2nd liners from D3? Certainly a step below the ECHL.

If the AHL is AAA hockey and the ECHL is AA, then the SPHL is A.

Make it 22-2 for BP. He scores again!

.....announcers said that the goal ties an NHL mark of 15 straight goals without an assist. I missed the name.

Thanks, I guess that would make it juat a small step ahead of Div 1.

Yorkie sent back to Florida. Syracuse has clinced a playoff spot with 6 games remaining so I thought he might get more icetime with the Syr. Syracuse did just sign Adam Wilcox (UMINN) so maybe they just want to see him before the playoffs start....http://theahl.com/stats/transactions.php

.....and Fla. releases Mark McGowan. Whether or not this was the reason I don’t know but some still have to get back to school to finish up. I think Scotty D. only had a couple of “freeby weeks” before he has to get back... http://www.echl.com/echl-transactions-april-6-p197245

Some sort of controversy between Mathias Lange and the Austrian National Team has resulted in Lange being dropped from the team despite being the presumed #1.

    http://www.derwesten.de/sport/eishoc...d10545399.html

There was an apparent disagreement about travel arrangements to/from the United States for the Austrian training camp for the upcoming world cup -- either an issue over missing days, or the cost of a ticket. His Iserlohn coaching staff has come to his defense.

The issue was missing some training while going to NJ with his wife and 2-month old son. Blame it on the alum of the evil red-and-white team coaching the Austrian National Team.

It’s that time of year when a lot of college players on ATOs are released to get back & finish up school. Curtis Leonard is one..... http://www.echl.com/echl-transactions-april-12-p197347
