I love this guys story. At RPI I saw him as an ECHL player, but he worked his butt off and now looks more like an NHLer.
    Great job by Burgdoerfer.

I’m sure it was a great experience for Jimmy Devito but today the Caps made several cuts from Camp & Jimmy was one. Curious to see if he ends up in one of their minor league teams. Nothing yet........... Goaltender Adam Morrison, defenseman Dmitri Zaitsev, and forwards Robbie Baillargeon, Jimmy Devito, Tanner Jeannot, Kristian Marthinsen, Beck Malenstyn, Garrett Pilon, Damien Riat, Brendan Semchuk and Mark Simpson were all returned to their respective teams on Thursday. https://www.nhl.com/capitals/news/fr...wn/c-291260140

Good luck to Jake Wood who received an invite to the Worcester Railers Training Camp (ECHL). Lots of former ECAC boys, not surprising though as Worcester scouts are at a lot of Engineer games..... http://railershc.com/worcester-raile...g-camp-roster/

This could be the first year we miss out on at least one NHL player in quite a long time.
It was an honor to present your colors, RPI. Let's Go 'TUTE!

I believe the only 2 players that have NHL contracts (both 2-way) ATT are Burgy ( https://www.capfriendly.com/players/erik-burgdoerfer ) and Kazzy ( https://www.capfriendly.com/players/jason-kasdorf ).

......if I’m following it correctly (but not sure) Vegas needs to send a player down in order to recall the 3 players they sent down last night without exposing them to the waiver wire. They probably signed BP to the minimum, 660K, & he’ll report to Chicago of the AHL. This also gives them a somewhat proven NHL goal scorer who had his most success playing for current Vegas HC Gerard Gallant. BP is able to live in Chicago where he & his wife have a home. Plus, they were also expecting their 1st child, which may have already been born.
