Cambridge-Isanti junior Aly Niebur breaks the Minnesota girls high school hockey state record for scoring the 3 quickest goals ever, in just 15 seconds! The record was previously held by former Benilde-St. Margaret's star and current Gopher Kelly Pannek, who managed to score her 3 in 22 seconds, back in 2012.

You think after the 2nd one the D would have been a little more resistant, though some blame must go on the goalie one would assume. I'd love to see the footage.

I saw it last night on local KSTP's sports segment. As far as the opponent's D being a little more resistant, I looked into it a little further, and see that they're a Wisconsin team, which makes what happened completely understandable.

They could always go with the idea of a moral victory by not getting overwhelmingly outshoot (26-14).

Oh that's funny, but I'm the first one to admit Wisconsin Girls HS Hockey is relatively unskilled when compared to rodentsota. Obviously that's why all the uber talented WI HS girls tend to play HS hockey elsewhere.

Besides an assumed talent gap, the WI team only had 14 players, hardly a fair fight.

Well there's that, but then again, according to the latest KRACH, they got outshot nearly two-to-one by a team that has 74 other Minnesota teams ranked ahead of them.

Speaking of piling on, To tease those poor hockey starved easterners there is a pretty decent matchup tonight at 7PM at Blake's arena (in Hopkins) between Blaine and Blake which will have 3 future Gopher recruits to watch if you care to attend.

And speaking of viewing future Gophers, Amy Potomak will be in town this weekend with her Pacific Steelers team for five games at Mariucci as part of the annual JWHL playing at Mariucci and Ridder.
