That’s both crap and correct at the same time. If you actually do get packets, they can have things like sugar, salt, and other stuff in them. If you get the big round canister, they’re literally just flattened versions of steel cut. I get both the rolled oats and the packets. Most of the serving I get is from the canister.
If I go with 100% rolled or steel cut, I end up lightly salting and adding something like maple syrup anyways. So *shrug*. The important thing is you’re getting at least a serving of oats without being totally unhealthy. This isn’t the difference between eating a salad and a wrap that has 3,000 calories.
