Mine is still in the box - birthday present to myself. Just haven’t had a chance to pull it out, yet.
Why would you use all three?

I might put an instant pot on the christmas list, but I might wait until my birthday in April.

Was looking at Zingerman's Bake classes (as that might go on the Christmas list). Found the pizza class I think jen mentioned. They have one on Valentine's Day, I may have convinced the husband this will be a fun and different Valentine's date. We will come home with lots of pizza with both of us taking the class.

Can anyone help me? I need an elimination diet for three weeks- no dairy, gluten, eggs, legumes, nightshades. I’m panicking because nightshades and legumes are staples in my diet and I have no idea what to eat.

MEat and sweet potatoes, spinach, what I’m really struggling with is breakfast. If eggs and protein powders are out I’m lost.

What about oatmeal? Or are grains out too?

I’m checking on that. I assumed they were out, but hope not. Oatmeal is a winter staple for me

I put mine in the Crock-Pot with apples, cinnamon, walnuts, cranberries, dates, and salt. When I wake at 3:30 AM, it's ready for me. I sweeten with stevia or agave nectar after I serve.

They’re less processed. My dr made a point to tell me to eat them over the instant crap. Instant crap can also have a lot of additives where as you can flavor the steel cut.

I mean, it does and doesn’t matter. Personally I think it boils down to a texture preference and convenience issue. Steel cut oats are NOT convenient. Instant oats or even rolled oats are. Rolled oats are steel cut oats just flattened. Or is that not what you were asking?

I’ve made steel cut on the weekends a bunch of times. Little bit of maple syrup and walnuts. Awesome stuff. But a pain in the ***.
