Saw this on the Facebook and it looked pretty good.

And since it's almost St. Patrick's day, Irishing up a pie sounds like a smart way to go.

That looks great, and easy! Probably won't take it to my Pi day thing, 'cause there will be lots of kids.

This butterscotch pie sounds interesting, I may try it.

Going to make a spinach and walnut pesto to go with ravioli tomorrow. I feel stupid for buying pesto, when it's a green, a nut, some cheese, and olive oil blended together.

Made a small batch of macarons yesterday. Very tasty, but they were a little flat, and slightly overdone (didn't affect the taste - but they weren't as pretty as they could've been). Need to whip the batter a little longer next time so they hold their shape while they dry out. They did form "hats" very well, though. I just used some mixed berry jam as the filling. Some kind of berry pate a choux would've been great.

I made Shepherd's Pie for my wife and I for St. Pat's day. My wife is 100% Norwegian, but I have a (very small) percentage of Irish blood. We spent our honeymoon touring the Emerald Isle with our church choir, and I picked up an Irish Potato Recipe cook book that had a great Shepherds Pie recipe.

And of course I had some Guinness with it.

Is it the peas or the lamb? My grandfather hated lamb.
