At least two defeated (0-3) teams today will get their first wins. Barring rain outs, etc.
I hate the White Sox, so hopefully they remain defeated at least 1 more day.Last edited by JF_Gophers; 04-10-2015, 02:50 PM.PSNetwork / XBOX GamerTag: xJeris

Re: MLB 2015 - Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!
Red Sox and Yankees go 19. For the first time in years the game actually deserves the attention it gets.
Also went to my first minor league action of the year last night. Lansing Lugnuts (TOR) had their season opener yesterday against Lake County (CLE). It's their 20th anniversary so yesterday they had tickets priced at what they were back in '96, so I got a couple seats 8 rows behind home for 5.50, normally those are around 13 or so. Unfortunately, they kept food prices the same, so despite sharing a drink food actually ended up being more than the tickets.
Pretty uneventful game really. An hour rain delay, cold, windy, ended 3-2, there were a couple doubles but besides that no incredible plays. The city is adding apartments in the outfield, which set off renovations all around the stadium, really making improvements. I guess I never realized how much was behind the production of these minor league games, though. I usually go to Whitecaps (DET) games, and while they do have interns doing things, a lot of the promotions and on-field events are done by regulars and it makes a HUGE difference.Go Green! Go White! Red Sox / Yankees once again prove they don't care about pace of play. 7 hours! Letting the other team tie the game to extend it further!PSNetwork / XBOX GamerTag: xJeris
