I'm really shocked that Hakstol is the new coach of the Philadelphia Flyers. Philly is about the toughest, most unforgiving fan base in the country. Good luck, Dave.

In light of Denver's 12 win season in men's basketball two members of Joe Scott's coaching staff--Mike McKee and A.J. Kuhle--were fired yesterday. Look for former player and current graduate manager--Nate Rohnert--to be promoted to one of the two open positions on Scott's staff. John Fitzgerald and Jon Jordan have been retained.

Miller has a very confusing career path since Gwoz left DU. Seems like family is committed to Denver. Has to limit opportunities.

DU still has a coaching vacancy. Would/Could Monty and Miller ever become a team ?

As an NHL scout you don't have to live in the city where the team is located. Most of the time amateur scouts are on the road watching junior and college players. Pro scouts are watching minor league and other NHL teams. Most teams divide it up by regions. Lots of travel involved if you don't mind it. Steve could be a western scout for any team if he is based in Colorado.

I doubt he goes back to DU as they are in need of a goalie coach as an assistant. However, you can never say never.
