Maybe I should read the whole list of games! I'm not picking UMD to sweep BC

I was wondering which Whitecaps' players might have been missing for the St. Cloud game. With so many extra players you never know who's going to be in the line up. Even so, as you say, a very good (and surprising?) result for the Huskies.

the lineup is posted on the WCHA website
SCSU vets replaced some of the players, maybe they didn't want to see their school lose

I'll be surprised if MSU can sweep at RIT. Hard to know what to expect out of SCSU at Merrimack or OSU at Lindenwood.

Thanks. That seems like the most plausible chance I have for a road trip this year, other than going to Minneapolis a few weeks before for the last road series of the year.

Nice - 17-3-3 out of conference record to begin the season is not bad!

                          • Re: WCHA Thread V

I just got an email from the Gopher Ticket Office about the WCHA Final Faceoff. Prices are a tad bit steeper than last year...

                            -- All-Session Reserved Chairback - $35
                            -- All-Session Adult General Admission (bench) - $25
                            -- All-Session Student/Youth/Senior General Admission (bench) - $20

The wording of the email doesn't clearly specify when tickets go on sale to the general public. There is a pre-sale for Gopher season ticket holders to reserve their season ticket seats, and they can purchase additional tickets or tickets in a different location after that. I don't know know if that timing for the additional and/or different seat sale aligns to the general public sale.

Single game prices were not given, with the note that those tickets will not go on sale until later, pending availability.

the fact that all three losses were to teams that made the NCAA tournament,
and that the last place team in the WCHA last year beat one of those teams the following night,
so I guess MSU's victory over RIT would qualify as the most impressive

so what was Hockey Easy's most impressive victory last week? ECAC? CHA?
