“We don’t want to look to far ahead, but the Pairwise (rankings) are very important,” Williams said. “We take every game as if it’s a playoff game and we won’t change for the Gophers either. We’re going to play them as if it’s a playoff game.
Hopefully. UND is 0-7 against Minnesota in postseason games.

Pretty impressive though. UND has 2 of the last 3 wins over the Gophers...and 3 of the last 5. After Wisconsin, this could be a dangerous weekend.

My money's on Hirschy positioned at D this weekend. Is that a bold prediction?

The members of the Gopher junior class have never lost to a team that doesn't wear green. (Sorry, pgb; that was a tie.)

In my opinion, it's not unreasonable to think the Bulldogs will go 18-0 over their next nine series:

                    Lindenwood
                    Mankato
                    SCSU
Cornell (Before Cornell's loss to BC, I would have said this would be the 'Dogs toughest matchup but the Big Red has a lot of work to do)
                    Bemidji
                    Ohio State
                    Bemidji
                    SCSU
                    Mankato

I'll be a little more realistic and say they go 15-2-1 over this stretch giving them a huge momentum swing heading into the final four weeks against UND, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio State

Those are some pretty gaudy marooon and unrine colored glass you are wearing. I'd take them off before you start your car.

LOL. Tell me where you see more than 2 MAYBE 3 losses coming in to play here. I say split vs Cornell with a loss to Ohio State and a tie with Bemidji

Past performance is no guarantee of future results
although I think there's a professor around who claims it does work for amoeba's or something and then generalizes it to hockey teams

it's not unreasonable, but it's also not realistic
you are correct, they should go 15-2-1 over those games
but I'm guessing it will be more like 12-4-2

and stop whining about the Pioneer Press
judging from the crowd that showed up, can you blame the PP for their blunders?
besides, most people working for the newspaper these days are kids a year or two out of school whose only qualification is a Twitter account and participation on Facebook.
