Oh please, they couldn't even be bothered to proofread the "Watch List" article when it first came out this morning. Two references to Michigan Tech's "Coach Peterson".

That is a pretty egregious error without a doubt. But it's no small task to put together a preview of 10 different teams and not make any errors at all. The Bemidji "only player ever drafted" error is a pretty bad one too. But again, it's a big task and probably took that guy all week to compile. Anyone here could certainly write a better capsule about their own team, but try writing one for every team. One simply cannot know every team to the depth that a fan who closely follows his team does.

Did anyone else get charged a foreign transaction fee when they ordered the WCHA package?

I didn't get the questioned charge like others got, mine went through just fine on the CC, but I got charged a foreign transaction fee, so I'm wondering if this is a widespread issue.

Last year we had a nice, clean transaction with one company, America One, taking your money and showing the games. This year, we have graduated (?) to a wonderful partnering arrangement where there are least 3 companies taking a piece of your pie. We have America One, partnering with EverSport and Invideous. The latter company is located in the UK, as in England. It looks like they actually process the credit card so that's where your foreign transaction fee came from. I sure feel great knowing that a UK company is in control of my hockey broadcast. Invidious? Seriously - why would you give your company a name that rhymes with a word meaning cunning, deceitful, dishonest and shrewd (thanks, Roget!). Does Monty Python come to your mind as well?

There is a thread dedicated to the ups, downs and complaints of this new WCHA TV mess:

                  http://board.uscho.com/showthread.ph...Complaints-etc

So far, it seems much worse than last year - marginal quality and no picture-in-a-picture option that allowed you to track several games last year. If you try to open multiple tabs for each game, is slows down to a horrible, rebuffering crawl. Hopefully, they will get the HD worked out and improve on the quality. Would sure like to easily track several games...

Subscribed because contrary to popular belief, some of us still care about the WCHA

Yes, I had a foreign charge as well (2% = $3.20). I am guessing anyone who has a credit card with this policy for foreign transactions will see this charge.

We ended up using Paypal to pay for the WCHA package. No foreign transaction fee was charged.

In reflection, I think the title of this thread is redundant. Any discussion of the WCHA is important - always has been. It is equally obvious that all posts on the board are serious in nature, semi-colon or not.
