As a few of us were discussing today, I'd wait until you get there to buy your tickets. The tickets are $15, but the fees are $13.50. I'm just getting mine when I get down there.

At home even. Holy ... wow.

They've given up 5.3 GPG in league play so far this year.

Sad fact, UMass has given up more goals in 10 league games this year than 8 HE teams gave up in all 20 games last year.

I'm going with four others. Already booked my hotel and will just get tickets down there.

Off topic: From today's Lowell Sun. With Caret leaving, would Meehan be elevated at UMass?

University of Massachusetts President Robert Caret has accepted a job leading the University System of Maryland, and even before the announcement was confirmed, UMass Lowell Chancellor Marty Meehan was being talked about as a possible replacement.
                    Hopefully Marty stays at Lowell.

Yikes. He's a Lowell alum, and I'm sure wants to keep building up the school, but he'll double his salary if he gets that job.

Or he could get rid of the Amherst program and put that money into Lowell. Wishful thinking.

The best case scenario I say...
I'd probably be a lot less stressed if I wasn't a hockey fan, but where's the fun in that?

Best case they end the disaster of a bcs football attempt at put that money into both hockey programs (after evening the funding out and giving Norm a substantial raise)

I think we need to keep UMass-Amherst at full FBS funding as the ruts created on the field give the New England Revolution a distinct home field advantage which was necessary and critical to send them on their playoff run. If anything we need to ensure both lacrosse teams play in Foxboro the spring.
