Captain's practices starting shortly and the new season just a month away. Will there be a continuation of last season's craziness or will things settle down?

also the NCAA does not allow any exhibition games don't understand why
you'd think that htese games would be good for each team and give the coach real good look at the girls

I'm just going to go on the record and say that UNH will get home ice come playoff time....comeback or surprise team, the Wildcats will be the team that no one wants to play! With absolutely no expectations, they can relax and just play hockey again....Coach Witt has the same outlook, with no pressure and the chance to create her mark with a historic program....should be a fun year!!

Originally posted by kool99 View PostI think a lot of people are underestimating UVM. As noted, they are losing their Sr goalie, as are BC and BU. NU has an advantage there. UVM has a pretty good OOC schedule and is returning almost all of their scoring. Last but not least let's not forget Coach Plumer and what he did at Amherst. This is his third year now at UVM and he has totally turned the program around in a relatively short period. UVM finished last year with 27 points and NU and BU both had 28. I think BC will be no. 1 but 2nd, 3rd and 4th are a toss-up in my opinion.
