Nice start to the season with last week's win over UNH, and last night's OT win over RMU.

Maine's five goals so far have been spread among 5 skaters--2 seniors, a junior, a sophomore, and the OT game winner by a freshman.

They changed the lines from game one to two and won. The beginning of the season is about getting different looks.

Black Bears tie #7 Mercyhurst. 2-2-1 on the season. A pleasant change from last year's start. This team should be fun to watch.

Indeed! Tough competition the last two series, and they fared reasonably well. It doesn't get any easier the next two series.

Maine scores 4 unanswered goals and gives BU it's first loss of the young season. I know, the season is still young, but after last year's debacle it's nice to see the Black Bears having some success.
