Maybe no one is seriously thinking about hockey during the summer-like weather!
Does anyone have information about when season tickets will go on sale for current season ticket holders, what will the prices be, and what are the finalized perks in the new VIP area?

Its going to heat up real quickly when the roster is officially announced soon. Excited to see whether players did graduate early and which on the recruits are coming in this year definitely. I think we really will be better because of the addition.

Ran into a Bentley grad at Portsmouth's Market Square day, spent 20 minutes talking about hockey and hockey rinks. Great way to spend a summer day.

Season ticket information should be out soon from what I have heard. Speaking of slow progress, I took a walk downtown Buffalo a week or so ago at lunch to check out Canisius's new rink. Still see them installing some steal and much of it still open. Hard to imagine them being ready by October, but I guess they will be...

Found this website on the Polisseni Center: http://www.rit.edu/fa/arenas/gene-po...about-facility

                Some interesting notes:
-4,000 seats and additional space for a total of 4,300 fans.
-Club seating section exclusively located behind RIT’s bench.
-Club Lounge - an upscale, full service hospitality area featuring a full buffet and cash bar each game.
-Six luxury suites and a VIP player experience box next to the benches.
-Two full service concession stands, and multiple mobile kiosks throughout the concourse.
-A new RIT Athletics Hall of Fame highlighting the hall's inductees and our proud athletics history.
-Reserved seating areas and general admission seating will both be available.
                Club Lounge

"The Club Lounge is an exclusive full service hospitality area, featuring a full bar and buffet style dinner. Both tables and soft seating will be available for guests to relax in before, during, or after the game. Only guests that have tickets within either the suite level or Club level seating areas will be allowed entry to this area.
                Club Seating

The Polisseni Center will feature approximately 400 “Club Seats”, an area located directly behind the player’s benches. Guests who purchase tickets within this Club Seating area will have access to the new “Club Lounge,” located directly above this location.
                Corner Crew & Pep Band

Corner Crew seating areas will be much expanded and will keep the Crew at the same end as the opposing goalie for two periods. This space will keep the Pep Band adjacent to the Corner Crew and affords plenty of room for expanding the Corner Crew section.

                Luxury Suites

The Polisseni Center features seven luxury suites, located in multiple areas within the venue. Options for the luxury suites include four separate suites on the second level, each with 12 exterior seats (as well as standing room for four additional guests in each suite), one press-level suite featuring 12 exterior seats (as well as standing room for four additional guests), a bunker level suite (a private party room located directly under 12 seats within the seating bowl), and a VIP “Players Experience” box (an exclusive glass enclosed area directly next to the player’s benches, seating up to eight guests)."

-"Alcoholic beverages are only sold, and allowed consumption within designated areas" - I've heard this is only in the Club Lounge (which requires a club ticket)

-"There is a no re-entry policy for all major ticketed events. Once guests enter the venue for an event they are not permitted to exit and re-enter the Gene Polisseni Center for that same event." - does this include hockey? I've enjoyed being able to scan out and scan back in.

-"Gene Polisseni Center parking lots will open two hours prior to face off. For more information on obtaining parking passes, please contact the box office at 585-475-4121."

                "Club seating benefits include:
-Prime reserved seating - Come early, come late...your seat will always be waiting for you.
-Upscale, padded seats with drink holders
                -Opportunity to purchase reserved parking
-Access to the VIP CLUB LOUNGE area, featuring:
                -Complimentary buffet-style dining
                -Full service cash bar
-Discounts on merchandise at the Barnes & Noble team store
-Exclusive deals and promotions sent monthly through email"

Season tickets will be available in club level, reserved, or general admission.

Edit: sorry for the long post! I just figured you'd all like that information

The amenities at the Pollissum sound amazing. Too bad that after holding season tickets for 10 years, I just moved to Michigan for a job. Ugh. Michigan hockey will be fun, but it's no RIT. The club seats sound pretty sweet.

Has anyone seen a breakdown of the number of seats of each category?

It will be interesting to see the price differential for tickets.

The only information on seat breakdown i got when I toured were the Corner Crew/ Pep Band area on the south side of the arena will have enough room for 1300 people. The rest I couldn't tell you.

Missing from this list is Liam Kerins, a forward who was a later (february 2014) commit out of the OPJHL. He looked like a pretty highly rated player who might have been one of the studs of this class. Golberg was originally identified as a '15-'16 recruit.
