NU is, academically, drastically different than the other schools currently in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference. This addresses that, while also providing an opportunity to resume some traditional rivalries. The chance to play three other service-oriented schools is a nice bonus too.

I see your point about academics, but I think NU doesn't quite measure up to MIT academically .

Those of you in the eastern time zone were probably asleep at the time, but this no goal call might remind you of one that stood for the Cadets this year:

Don't know if the NHL rule is different or not, but when I saw it, I thought good goal because of what happened with the NU call

According to the NCAA rule book you can't head it in either....I think Norwich caught a break...

Kyle Thomas added to Fort Wayne Komets (ECHL) preseason roster. He played in 20 games with them last season did alright. Hoping he can stick the whole season with them this year.
