Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Nice height. I'm waiting for someone to recruit one of those Samoan athletes that is about three feet wide and really quick. Sort of like a reverse Bill Veeck stunt: get a goalie who covers 75% of the net just by standing still.

What's the actual height on him? Ben Bishop is the tallest free-standing netminder in the NHL at 6'7".

Hey, if Gordon Bombay can teach Fulton Reed how to skate, I'm sure Seth can teach someone like that to stand up.

Of course, if we ever need to pull the goaltender, it might get a little difficult.

No truth to the rumor that SA was seen recruiting Akebono Tarō recently. If he did come to Troy, i wonder what sort of uniform he would wear? it can be a tad chilly wearing a mawashi on the HFH ice surface.

Just find one of those large Samoan women to play on the men's team and tell her that the opposition's captain's real name is Bob Barker.

Not that she was huge, but didn't Nona Letuligasenoa have Samoan ancestry?

For anyone thinking about going up to Lake Placid for the WJrs evaluation camp with USA, Finland, Sweden & 1 day with the Czechs (no Canadian Team this year) that starts this weekend, I’ve found out that they won’t be on the, “Miracle on Ice” rink this year. I can tell you, by past experiences, the auxiliary rinks are not fan(ny) friendly. Aluminum grandstand style seating....120 capacity maybe. There is standing along the glass but only for about 1/3 of the ice that goes from behind the goalie around to the first penalty box and that’s it. Think Princeton is cold?....bring a blanket for this rink! .......Just got the email, looks like NJEC will be in auxiliary USA Rink to simulate TOR/MTL rinks. No Olympic '80 sheet ice. https://twitter.com/russbites/status/494261329499127809
