Yeah, that latest report about Brazil's Olympic waters almost made me puke.

Did you hear the Australian sailing captain's description on the BBC? It was essentially like sailing in wastewater effluvia down-current from the largest and least regulated megalopolis on the planet.

I heard a few teams are contemplating going down around now and trying to get sick so they can build antibodies and not get sick during training and the Games.

Yeah, Rio might be a bigger disaster than the World Cup and Sochi.

Sochi was pretty awful. Not just the facilities, but also the snow. Snow had to be trucked in, and in some cases, Putin ordered harvesting of snow from the previous year, to be stored in icehouses for the Olympics the following year.

Based on that, if anyone is shocked that Brazil (a second world country, just like Russia) has environmental issues with hosting Olympic events, well...then I have some outstanding ocean-front property in Arizona to sell you.

I just found this Deadspin article about the Beijing Olympics in 2022, specifically the ski venue. (From a few days ago)

If they are going to use warehoused snow, I assume the 2026 Winter Games will be awarded to Dubai.

Feel sad about that. Seemed like a healthy marriage, despite the odds. Oh well. I guess I'll get in line and dream about nailing her.

If I cheated on Dr. Mrs. Kepler with Courtney Love, I would absolutely expect her to file papers.

Not only is she not attractive, she's not exactly a smart person. He literally "hit" all the bad things when he cheated.
