              So the Twins finish the first half of the season at 44-50, winning 5 of their last 6. That puts them on pace to finish the season with 75 to 76 wins. I would call that a successful campaign for this group.

              They open up the second half with a 10 game home stand against Tampa, Cleveland, and Chicago. 6-4 or 7-3 is certainly reasonable, and going 8-2 to get back to .500 wouldn't be out of the equation. Of course, I don't think any of us would be surprised if they laid an egg and went 2-8 either.

                    Minnesota was basically a .500 team at home in the first half. Tampa, Cleveland, and Chicago were all sub .500 on the road (and went a combined 7-10 against Minnesota, going 0-4 at Target Field). I think 2-8 is probably just as realistic as 8-2, but I think more than likely we'll see the Twins win 5 or 6 of the 10. If they don't, it might be a long second half.

                        Hopefully they can win 3 of 4 with the palehosers and finish the stand .500

                                3-7 on the homestand.
                                This next series of road games (minus the weird 2 game home series with SD) should put them squarely back to the 90+ loss finish.
