Yale has been kind to us lately, lets hope they continue to be generous.
Seriously, we have played very well against them recently and we could really use a win tonight.
Lets go out and take one.
lets go red!!!!!!!!!!!!!Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Trivia question. When was the last time a defending national champion played against RPI at HFH? Besides tonight, of course. Obviously Harvard in 1990 would be the last ECAC team, but was there any non conference NCAA champion in the past 20+ years who came here?

EDIT: Nevermind, wrong year.
RPI beat BU at home in 1978, but at that time BU was in the ECAC. My searching through Kurt's site suggests that we have never played a non-conference defending national champion at home.Last edited by RHamilton; 02-07-2014, 03:45 PM.RPI Class of 2012
