Play to win always. The other option is to be a loser. Frickin' no brainer, eh?

real coaches win, children over analyze things and focus on grammar, or lack of it
the thought of BC not wantjng teams thinking they are unbeatable is moronic at best. stay inside their head and put the peddle down

Don't disagree but hard to have that intensity for each minute for 60 minutes or more. Individuals still prone to make mistakes or wrong decisions with the puck leading to goals for the opposing teams. Like BB says, they or we made more plays. Luck or talent or both ???

The scoring is split 50-50 between that line and the rest of the team.
The rest of the team has more game winning goals.

you do get the fact they piled up while they were playing with them first half
look at what the 3 players who played with jd/ba and other 2 with kh before and after

thats the % that matters obviously

one trick donkey and a very good one at that. with goalie coming on, they will be tough to beat.

You do realize that this information takes like 15 seconds to look up and actually get real information rather than make things up?

Per collegehockeyinc.com, which allows you to filter stats by date:

Since the Holy Cross game after which the top line was united, BC has scored 81 goals, of which 40 have been scored by Hayes (16), Gaudreau (15) or Arnold (9). That's 49.4%.

For the season at large - including before Gaudreau, Arnold and Hayes were united on the same line - those three have combined for 61 of BC's 136 goals, 44.8%.

So amazingly once again everyone who actually knows what they're talking about is right, what a shock. BC's scoring from lower lines is pretty comparable with scoring from other top teams, it's just the first line that's disproportionately good.

put the stats away poindexter and watch the games... one trick pony but a very good one at that. even the goals they don't score, they have their hand in something like 75% of all production. just look at what their ex line mates have done since being bumped.

                      one trick pony..

Ignore him. If it isn't something talking about how Union is awesome, he will slam you for it. Example: he said that Minnesota was a bigger under-performing and choking team than RPI.

And apparently, you looking at basic statistics now makes you poindexter. If anything, just take that as a complement.

$20 says he hasn't watched more than maybe one BC game this season.

Hockey is serious business. Everything else is just a game.

RPI Hockey, Syracuse Football, New York Rangers, New York Giants.

but then when that percentage doesn't add up to what he thinks, throw the stats out entirely! there is no bigger fraud on this board than hoky.

Wow, you really are missing chromosomes. Do you want to back up your assertion that "they have their hand in 75% of all production" with literally anything even remotely resembling a fact?

lol I guess being able to do a 15 second search and see how many goals they've scored means I don't watch the games. What a waste of all that season ticket money!!!!

                              Here you go dingus:

Fitzgerald, Straight, Cangelosi, and Gilmour were the players who spent time playing with Gaudreau, Arnold and/or Hayes in the first 14 games of the season.

In those 14 games, they combined for 35 points (Fitzgerald 14, Cangelosi 11, Gilmour 7, Straight 3)..... 2.5 points per game

In the 17 games since the big line was put together, those four players have combined for 39 points in 17 games (Cangelosi 12, Fitzgerald 11, Straight 8, Gilmour 8) .... 2.29 points per game.

                              OMG .21 points per game!
