Well, you can keep the old thread, until they turn it off.

Anyway, HHS Secretary Katherine Sebelius dropped another caveat today...

But those old plans are bad for you! Obama to the rescue to rid you of bad insurance plans and replace them with ones you may not be able to afford. Hooray!

Either you never expected anyone to read your article or you don't understand that the 3rd Quarter ended before the ACA was implemented. All of the data used was from July 1 - Sept 30.

Sorry Sparky, you don't get off that easy. All year we've been hearing about stagnating growth was because of ACA uncertainty. Well, what gives? Or do you somehow think business don't plan a few quarters ahead.

I guess that's the mistake for only checking in here every now and then. When I see someone tout the positive benefits of the ACA on the economy, I actually expected to see an article that either mentions the ACA or at least data that covers the time frame in which the law has been in effect. Although, once the fourth quarter numbers come out, who knows how much of the anticipated downturn will be because of the govt shutdown and how much from the ACA.

I guess having nearly 100 million people getting new health insurance plans is good for the economy.

Hey I hear ya on taking a wait and see attitude. Problem is you have to knock down a lot of misinformation out there (Death Panels, anyone?) along the way.

Investors had reason to smile yesterday afternoon when the Dow Jones, one of the major Wall Street indexes, closed at an all-time high.

The real fun begins when we reminisce about what Obama’s Republican critics were saying in early 2009. Indeed, the Wall Street Journal ran an entire editorial in early March 2009 arguing that the weak stock market was a direct result of investors evaluating “Mr. Obama’s agenda and his approach to governance.”

Karl Rove and Lou Dobbs made the same case. So did Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Fred Barnes. For a short while, it was one of Mitt Romney’s favorite talking points, too. Even John Boehner got in on the larger attack.
                Oh, my God the Socialism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Bone Man. How those jobs coming????

Somebody obviously hasn't heard about the corresponding stagflation. Of course with a devalued currency, prices will rise.

                    Obamacare and the CMA Awards.

                    http://youtu.be/NRP8Do-IyRU

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood's mockery of the ObamaCare web site didn't just ignite the crowd during Wednesday's CMA Awards telecast. It represented a cultural nudge that could resonate long after the lyrics to ObamaCare by Morning fade from memory.

It is becoming more apparent with every passing day that the refrain is more like "Medicaid for everyone."

The majority of providers on enrollment websites are Medicaid providers and the narrow restrictive networks and paucity of doctors and hospitals accepting coverage acquired through the exchanges are reminiscent of Medicaid, as are the draconian price controls.

Between Jay Leno and the CMAs, if this kind of discontent continues to spread further throughout popular culture, maybe we will be talking about President Pinata pretty soon?

I've seen some T-shirts ready for sale.

One has that now-famous quote: "I was all for Obamacare until I found out that I'd be paying for it."

and the other is that iconic Obama campaign picture with the word "LIAR" underneath. If we could still post pictures here I'd insert it.

Fishy, you get the second weekly "Unskewed Polls" Award, given to people who think a troubled website is going to rocket a party with single digit favorable ratings into power. Congrats on wresting this award from Opie, who frankly I thought we'd have to pry it out of his cold dead hands......wait, has anybody heard from him lately?

This deserves posting in both threads.
This email read by Bret Baier tonight says it all.
"Putting things in perspective: March 21st 2010 to October 1 2013 is 3 years, 6 months, 10 days. December 7, 1941 to May 8, 1945 is 3 years, 5 months, 1 day. What this means is that in the time we were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day Germany surrendered is not enough time for this progressive federal government to build a working webpage. Mobilization of millions, building tens of thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs, cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc. Turning the tide in North Africa, Invading Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to Berlin - all while we were also fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!! And in that amount of time - this administration can't build a working webpage."
