We don't start demelo in goal an I think we win that game he just seems to have lost all his confidence from last year an it shows in his play. Two of the three he gave up were bad goals an he should of had them.
In 1000+ career minutes: 3.94 & 0.878. This season: 4.43 & 8.51. Tough sledding when the team has only one reliable tender, and a patchwork defense, but then again, none of the ECAC/W teams is setting the ice on fire this season. If the ECAC/W gets shut out of the tourney this season, I wouldn't be a bit surprised, and might be due recompense considering some of the recent suspect bids.

Utica and Hobart are the only shots now with Elmira's latest loss and I think they are both skating on real thin ice with any more losses.
I heard from someone that a leading referee in D3 told him that Hobart was the best team he had worked this year, followed by Plattsburgh and Babson. Obviously he is an eastern-based ref !

Most refs work the same teams and areas throughout the year.
Yeah, I know who the ref is, he's very good. He does a lot of SUNYAC games and ECAC West too. He gets a lot of the big games so you've got to think he knows what he's looking at. He played at a good program a long time ago as well. Having never refereed anything other than fights between my girls, I don't know how much you pay attention to how good a team is while working.

EC is only one point out of first place with one game in hand on Utica. Two big games for these teams next weekend, which is the always fun Alumni Weekend.
Having David and Love back anchoring the blue line is certainly not going to hurt EC's league run. After Utica's stumble at Naz, Hobart may be the ECAC/W's only chance at a bid unless EC can knock them off as well.

At this point a team with 4 losses and 4 ties doesn't look like it has a chance either. There are many teams with much better resumes, especially in the west!!

I'm in agreement that there is not an ECAC-W team that deserve a bid.
Elmira College (2006 ECAC-W Champions. 2006,2008 Final Four Semi-Finalist)
Guelph Storm (2004 OHL Champions)

My metrics (which I've not been able to do for a number of reasons for the last couple of week) will be posted "over there" next week) make it look like the ECAC W is in deep trouble for either type of Pool bid. This is why the quest for team #7 needs to continue for this league
