Maybe for non-league matchups we should bring in Hockey East refs.
It was an honor to present your colors, RPI. Let's Go 'TUTE!

Ralph: Those numbers are great-but they do not take into account the Kotyra effect. I have no idea if that call late in the third was worthy of a penalty or not-but he seems to have some sort of major effect on so many of our games with some questionable calls.
Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor

How does one quantify the Kotyra effect?

How many one goal games have we lost with him at the helm where a late penalty was involved?

Let's put it this way. Puck was in the guy's skates, and it's interference.

As a fan of neither team just watching the game tonight, That had to be the worst interference call I have ever seen, ruined what was a really good game.

Am I missing something? Should I be donating money to the refs of the ECAC somewhere that other teams fans are doing? Come on guy interference? Seriously? What a ****ing joke call. I really wish I knew what we need to do to get some far officiating in this league. ****ing unbelievable is all I have to say. These refs should not even be doing midget league games. Where the **** do I sign up to get a job making about $100 a game to skate around and call bull**** penalties? This league is becoming a disgrace thanks to these refs? Look at last nights Yale/Cornell game as well. No way should a guy get away with putting his stick in another players nuts and only get 2 mins in the box. Stewart and company should be ashamed of themselves for putting these men on the ice every weekend.

Re: RPI & Union @ TUC (Saturday, 1/26/13)

You have to question the interference call that late in the game, but we did have five power plays of our own and couldn't cash in. We still have the same problem, we just don't finish often enough.
We are playing great hockey, now lets start to put the puck in the net.
