I'm feeling the jerk right now. It's not pleasant. But goddam was it tasty.

Possibly on DX will appreciate this.

My lunch today was a really nice sandwich made from Northern Waters Smokehouse Bison Pastrami and Porketta.

    Re: Lunch

I burned my mouth on some homemade chili that I overheated in the break room's nuker. Good chili, and I actually got it heated evenly. I just got it too hot.

    Re: Lunch

I had homemade chicken gnocchi soup. My mom also had the same thing, and called to tell me it was the best soup she's ever had. I didn't feel that strongly about it, but it was good.

St. Patrick's Day potluck at work (we don't do Friday lunches, because production workers have a half day).

    I made potato leek soup.
Also ate: shepherd's pie, green salad, green desserts, mini rueben

Leftover beef stroganoff. I think the fact that my husband did the grocery shopping and the cooking yesterday made it taste even better.

    Re: Lunch

Ordered a Catrina Bowl from Catrin'as Cantina today.
    Shredded chicken
    No Rice
    Black beans & fajitas
    tomato
    lettuce
    Monterrey Jack cheese
    onions
    pickled jalapenos
    cilantro
    roasted tomatillo verde (medium)
    salsa de arbol (medium hot)

They put fresh jalapenos on instead. While that's far from a deal-breaker for me, it wasn't expected and the nostril flare during that first bite did not go unnoticed. For whatever reason, the pickled jalapenos just don't pack quite the same punch as the fresh ones do.
