That's not all that uncommon in eastern hemisphere hockey. Not to mention, the faceoff circles are typically ads in their own right. Being able to make it in th epros is getting more and more difficult. The entire system is getting squeezed from all sides. With no NHL yo have top notch players moving down to get ice time and play. You have more Europeans coming into the system every year (Finnish, Swedish, Czech, Russian and all their former satellites and republics), a new crop of Canadian juniors each year moving up and of course a new class of NCAA level boys each year and fellows who leave early. Scouts tend to label you early-and they do not seem to change their minds or opinions easily. If you do not move up the ladder quickly-each year it is less likely. Which is why it is imperative to hit the pro level at the right time-when you are most likely to be rated highly. Each year that goes by, fellows like our JDA and BP have more competition and more to fend off.
