  • Re: RPI Pros V

after getting the rust knocked off him in his previous start, Yorkie bounced back............ Evansville Goaltender Allen York made his Ford Center debut on Sunday, stopping 36-of-38 shots faced. York’s .947 save percentage earned him the third star of the game consideration. http://www.evansvilleicemen.com/game...ledo-3-2#.UL1L
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Odd seeing both Allen York and Paul Karpowich on that box score...glad Yorkie turned it around!

After seeing York and Scrivens in the same NHL game, I suppose anything could happen.

Perhaps the embarrassment of being pulled in favour of a Clarkson graduate turned him around.

FWIW, Yorkie had to relieve Karpowich tonight & picked up the win in doing so ....http://echl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=9861

not to wish an injury to a player but I hope the Springfield backup might be, prompting Yorkie's recall. Curtis McElhinney is having a career year so far so I wouldn't expect much PT there. It did appear since he came off the IR that he was getting the #1 minutes with Evansville. With John Davidson running things now in Columbus I'ld hope that they would have a better plan than the ping-pong game they played with Yorkie last year.

I hadn't seen an installment since that 1st one RB. I'm glad they linked them altogether.

Yup as a young forward. Great to see all those names-Tapper, Healey, Gardiner, Garver. We had some offense that year but even 14 years ago, with all those guys, we still were having power play problems. They were fun to watch though.

Remember that weekend well. We had beaten Harvard the night before and I had figured the Brown game would have been easier. It was freezing cold (what else is new in Troy) in January and we kept warm in section 6 with coffee and Irish Whiskey.
