    #30 Northeastern Huskies

    Total: 28.25452
    1 year change: +2.2735 (#16)
    5 year change: +3.684915 (#31)
    Last year: #30

The Huskies were .500 last year, a drop from the 2013-14 year; but the 3 seasons before that were all below .500. The Huskies have not had much success in tournament play (either Beanpot, Hockey East, or NCAA) in the last few years, and will need to improve on those results to move up these rankings.

      #29 Colgate Raiders

      Total: 32.27793
      1 year change: +0.3572 (#33)
      5 year change: +4.486431 (#28)
      Last year: #29

Last year ended for Colgate in the ECAC final, and the year before that ended in the NCAA tournament. A couple of solid seasons, and a new rink currently being built, bring some optimism. More postseason success will be needed to make moves up the rankings.

        #28 Ferris State Bulldogs

        Total: 32.91702
        1 year change: +0.2723 (#36)
        5 year change: +25.02582 (#10)
        Last year: #28

Last year was a drop for the Bulldogs; the 5 years before last were all above .500, and 2 years with NCAA tournament wins. But 2014-15 was just below .500. A turnaround will be needed to get them moving back up the rankings.

He wouldn't, but the point is those were the only 3 posters to respond to your comment about UNO's ranking bumping up none of which is a Gophers fan.

                #27 Dartmouth Big Green

                Total: 40.25139
                1 year change: +0.6041 (#28)
                5 year change: +5.108392 (#25)
                Last year: #27

Last year was solid for the Big Green, and a significant improvement over the 2013-14 season. However, they did not make the ECAC Final Four, nor did they make the NCAA tournament. Continued improvement, and postseason success, will be needed to gain ground in the overall rankings.

                  #26 Notre Dame Fighting Irish

                  Total: 40.74282
                  1 year change: +0.5779 (#29)
                  5 year change: +7.164024 (#21)
                  Last year: #26

The 2nd year in Hockey East was a step down for the Irish overall, even though they improved on their conference finish. They were 7th in Hockey East in 2013-14 before winning at Boston College to make the Hockey East final four and qualifying for the NCAA tournament. They followed that up this year with a 5th place finish, winning the first round before losing the second round. Their overall record fell one game below .500

                    #25 Miami RedHawks

                    Total: 49.10862
                    1 year change: +2.4115 (#15)
                    5 year change: +12.15112 (#16)
                    Last year: #25

Last year's NCHC tournament winner, the RedHawks greatly exceeded its 2013-14 results. After the 1st season in the new conference ended poorly, Miami bounced back very well. Their NCAA tournament stay was short, however, losing to Providence in the 1st round.

                      Last year: #23 (down 1)

The 2013-14 National Champs came back to earth a fair amount in 2014-15, finishing 10th in the 12-team ECAC. They did upset Cornell in the 1st round and nearly beat Quinnipiac in the 2nd round. More postseason success will be needed to go back up the list.

                        Total: 68.43712

                        Last year: #22 (down 1)

Last year was St. Lawrence's best year by winning percentage since 2009-10. A 2nd place ECAC regular season was followed by a trip to Lake Placid, and a loss to Colgate in the semifinal. With a terrific freshman in goal, the Saints have a chance to continue current success.

                          #22 Yale Bulldogs

                          Total: 74.90903

                          Last year: #21 (down 1)

The 2012-13 Champs had a solid year in 2014-15, finishing 3rd in ECAC play. However, the Bulldogs lost a double-overtime Game 3 to Harvard in the 1st round of the ECAC tournament, then lost to Boston University in NCAA play. Yale has been .500 or better for the last 8 seasons.
