I wish I would have known you were going to be there. I am one of the track announcers down at Mohawk. Since I chatted with a Platty fan last year at Mohawk, I guess I could chat with a Laker fan as well.

The Bears will be playing at the Massena Arena..not the St. Lawrence Center Mall arena....Massena Arena is on Route 37 rigth in the village part of the Harte Haven Shopping Center.

Mall Arena is not very good. Massena Arena is the best community Arena north of Syracuse

I am sure there are a lot of communities that would argue that one!!

I just went to Mohawk this past Friday night. We were camping down the road at Cole Creek so we went over to see our buddy Dale Planck race. It was my second time there since the new owners took over as I went there last summer. It is a very nice facility and the track crew had the track really smooth. It is very fast and some of the guys like Dale, Carey Terrance and Billy Dunn really fly around there. Unfortunately Dale had a crappy night after winning his heat, getting caught up in a wreck and then getting lapped. Topping it all off his wife Leslie had her car break down on the way so she didn't get there until late which made it tough for him to keep his mind on racing. Dale Planck is my favorite dirt racer. I don't have a real reason...but every time I see him race, I always root for him! Small world!

Nope never been to any track in Jersey.

Dale Planck is my favorite dirt racer. I don't have a real reason...but every time I see him race, I always root for him! Small world!

Dale was my favorite when I first started watching racing back in the Outlaw circuit days. Since I have gotten into the media side of things Dale and Leslie along with their sons Steven and Brandon have become good friends of mine.

Back on topic here, Assistant Coach Crowley takes the job at Elmira. So who will be the new Assistant at Potsdam, the person will have some pretty big shoes to fill. Coach Crowley did an outstanding job while he was here at Potsdam.

Well try-outs are set to begin on Oct.15th at the Cheel Arena (Clarkson). How quickly the off season passes us by.

I'm not sure of the ice time. I do know from experience the Clarkson Pep Band practices on Mondays around 8pm and its not a good idea to rap your stick on the glass in front of them and yell," SLU! SLU! SLU!". They were mean....

Hahaha, it was during warm-ups before a Men's League game. Unfortunately they saw the number on the back of my jersey. It was a blast being heckled like that....more than I usually am.
