Seriously, are we playing split squad to end the year? RPI says we're hosting them, Vermont says we're in the Catamount Cup non-tournament Tournament

There is also speculation that due to conflicts with football the MSU series could be F & Su and and MSUM will be 2 away then 2 home instead of split.
Wow. Minnesota making their first trip out East since January of '05. Couple that with supposed trips to BC/BU in the future, and it looks like the Gophers are finally making some trips out East. That should help them come tournament time if the Gophers have to go to an Eastern bracket, as the Gophers haven't advanced to the Frozen Four from out East since 1987.

Bottom Line: If you deserve to win the national championship then don't worry about who you play, when, and where. Just keep winning.
Exception: You are right about the refs. They, no doubt, have it in for <insert your team name here>!
From what I can tell, MSU will commence it's final campaign as a CCHA member by opening at Minnesota, then coming home to face Niagara. In January, Penn State (I) comes to Munn. There's a home-and-home with Bowling Green and a home-and-home with Ferris State in there too.
Here's what we have for UNO, who last season did not announce their schedule until the week the season started and long after season ticket renewals were due. A very sore subject with me. From what I have cobbled together from here, the Mavpuck board, and some other places:

I readily acknowledge we won't be playing on all these possible dates.
UNO has been playing Eastern teams the last weekend of December for several years now. Just finished home and away with Quinnipiac this season. My guess is that somebody out that way is on our plate this season that weekend, too.
I am assuming that since UNO is playing in the Icebreaker that they aren't holding their annual Maverick Stampede season opening tournament this year, unless they are planning to move it to some other weekend, which would be unprecedented.
Other conference games are, I believe, an away weekend at Denver, a home and away series with Michigan Tech, a home series against Wisconsin, an away series against Alaska Anchorage, and a home series with Minnesota State Mankato. We also, I believe have an away series with MSM as well. I forget who else we double up with this season. Correct me if I have these other ones wrong, somebody.
Looking forward to our trip to Mariucci this season, where, as we all know, UNO is undefeated, all time.Conversely, and oddly, they've won every game they've played here. Interesting to see if that streak gets kept alive.
According to Lowell Coach Norm Bazin at the team banquet last night, Lowell will be playing at Denver on Oct 19th and following up with CC on the 20th (we already knew the latter, and had speculated the former).

2012-2013 Hockey East Regular Season Champions!
I didn't think Simon Frasier had a hockey team. So out of curiosity I checked their site and the show no varsity hockey team. Is it a new start up or a club team? And further complete speculation, since Simon Frasier switched to the NCAA this year, if it were a varsity team would it still count toward the exemption?
