Way to go Big Red.
"I'm not surprised by the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do." (seen on a T-shirt)
Where's that dude that started a thread about how everyone should bow down to the CCHA when you need him?
When was the last time that two ECAC teams won in the first round of the NCAAs? It's not unprecedented, but it's been a while.
. . . still crazy after all these years. . .
Cornell's Three Stars of the Game:
3d -- Sean Collins (2 assists)
2d -- Andy Iles
1st -- Roger Craig GWG.

Cornell University
NCAA Champion 1967, 1970
ECAC Champion 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1973, 1980, 1986, 1996, 1997, 2003, 2005, 2010
Actually technically, when the tournament only had four teams (my era), the semi-finals were the first round. Several times ECAC (both the old ECAC and the current ECAC members) teams won both semi-finals:
1978 -- BU & BC
1972 -- BU & Cornell
1970 -- Cornell & Clarkson
1967 -- Cornell & BU
1949 -- BC & Dartmouth
