HERSHEY, Pa. – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the club has signed goaltender Matt Tendler to an amateur tryout agreement. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Tendler, 24, joins the BEARS after completing his senior season at Neumann College (ECAC), where he posted a record of 6-4-0, a goals-against average of 2.98 and a save percentage of .888.
The 5-8, 170-lb. native of Warminster, PA appeared in a total of 35 games over his four-year career with the Knights and holds a record of 19-8-2, a goals-against average of 2.75 and a save percentage of .895.
Congrats Matt!
He clearly has a connection to the Bears because those stats are very underwhelming
Not even their starter is he? Only played in 10 games out of 25 ish
But cool anyway, sometimes all you need is a chance. Good luck Matt.
