Utica fans should feel very good about their team's performance this season.
Look back over the years. It took St. Norbert a long time to break through. Steven's Point almost disappeared for a generation. It took Hobart a long time to break through. Etc. Etc. A lot of very good programs...

Agreed. Curry played very well in Geneseo. They looked fast, skilled and able to play physical when they needed to....and they had solid goaltending. Without a doubt, Hobart has their work cut out for them...but I am guessing they know that already.
I also think Utica has a legit opponent...

Cortland just knocked off Geneseo (ranked #4 at the time) and Plattsburgh (ranked #5 at the time) in consecutive games...those are two VERY good hockey teams. And Plymouth State is certainly not any kind of "gimme"...it wouldn't stun me if they take out Cortland.

And I mean no disrespect to Brandon Tate - he is an awesome goaltender and a huge part of Skidmore's success this season. But, if I am going to pick a goaltender to take my team into the national tournament....I'm taking Beaver. Tonight he made huge saves at key...
