Hopefully BC will lock down on defense. Michigan is also loaded with offense. Their PP is tops. If there are penalties BC's PK vs the Michigan PP. One game at a time. This looks like another nail biter game.

This reminds me of the 98' matchup when Michigan had their incredible freshmen class and BC took them to triple OT and the puck sneaked between the post and Clemmenson's skate....

Funny I was saying the same things to BC fans around me but we lucked out. Getting the puck in deep when BC often makes that questionable cross ice pass and it gets intercepted and BC ends up not getting a shot on net on a number of plays.
There's no such thing as a bad shot when you know...

Maybe you’re right but Denver makes up for it with almost 200 goals for
Denver would scare me but then again like a good team they can adjust and play the tight defense low scoring game if needed as they showed in their regional in Springfield over UMass & Cornell...

Ambrosio works very hard to get himself in position to score but can’t put the puck in the net if his life depended on it but happy he gets credit for the assist for the winner...

Recovering from high blood pressure and resting at home watching Michigan just go ahead 2-1 in 3rd period...

BC has to start sound and strong. QU obviously has our number over the recent times. Can't play like the first 2 periods vs MTU. Win more faceoffs and make good decisions with the puck and good quick breakouts. Good forechecking teams can cause big problems for BC leading to turnovers and opportunities....

My most painful one was when North Dakota beat us 4-2 and Gionta was on that team / after that heartbreaking triple OT loss to Michigan in 1998...Last edited by BCeagle; 03-30-2024, 10:24 PM.

It’s not over
all you need is one loss and you’re out of frozen four and no longer in the conversation
Both teams will be rested with a day off and no time to let up and make horrendous plays and mistakes which could happen
BU will have their matchup...

One and done I don’t think either team has an advantage in a neutral site
Hopefully BC has better start Sunday because MTU could have been up 3-1 early in the game but couldn’t capitalize on their chances
Just win and advance even if it’s an ugly tight game...

I can if BC plays sloppy again
MTU if they converted on their chances in first 2 periods it’s a different game
Sunday will be no easier vs Quinnipiac or Wisconsin...

Did anyone like Albany and Columbus ? My favorite is Tampa
How about Long Island where the Islanders play ?

I have a different perspective
Do you think BU has a tougher bracket in Springfield or Sioux Falls ?
I think getting to the FF is tougher in Springfield if you had to deal with Maine or Cornell and Denver than RIT, Minnesota/Omaha OR it doesn't matter ??...

Saturday I thought I was sitting beside a BU fan but he was actually a Wisconsin fan due to him wearing red similar to BU jerseys. He thought Badgers had no chance but I said you never know.
But I remember when BC lost to them 2-1 in the FF in Milwaukee.
The Q is a pretty good...

I just happen to notice a name plate on OSU and immediately thought she was a BC player. I have not read or posted in the womens thread this year but there seems to be a recurring action at BC. Many players leave the program over the recent period in womens hockey program. I know another player left...
