Curious if this has ever happened before. My gut says no, especially since there were so many repeat winners early on in D3 tournament history....

Not a whole lot of wiggle room in Norwich schedule when you have 20 league games and play in two tournaments you've had for 20+ years. They had one non-league game to play with and chose a very quality CCC opponent in Curry. That's generally what they've done for opening up the season for getting to...

You'll get full support from me...One thing I would definitely try and talk about because i remember it being one of the biggest cons to it is the "championship experience" narrative. The women's committee has always been very cognizant of not letting the D3 women's hockey tournament be treated...

It’s been my dream to have the men’s and women’s hosted on the same weekend at the same venue for 15 years. Try it once, see how it works, if it’s flop, don’t have to do it again but I always thought it would be really cool with the amount of schools that could potentially...

Unsure how different the roster is from last year, but last year they were very physical team that had a lot of different guys that could beat you with goals. 1st and 2nd line were very even and spread out with scoring. Really strong goalie tandem too....

No, but I think you’ll be hearing an announcement in the near future that might surprise some folks. (nothing to do with coaching staff)....

That is the exact reason why you are seeing a ton of college hockey teams being added right now despite the fact it's an expensive sport to operate.
If you get 30 kids paying around 25-30K a year, that's $750-900K to the school revenue....

It actually happened in 2022 as well. Women lost to Castleton 1-0 in semis after the men lost to Babson 2-1 in quarterfinals the previous weekend.
That was the first year of the Tony Mariano Cup and Tony’s last year as AD.
Hockey was done by Feb. 26....

On a more positive note...
I was at the Bruins game last Tuesday and during the intermission an Aucoin with the #5 was out there and ended up scoring a goal. It seemed to be too much of a coincidence with all those factors of being in Boston, the name and the number...I texted Keith and...

Just would have to upgrade all sports to D2, but yes, still a huge jump and I don't think makes any sense for H/WS to do.
Remember, William Smith on the women's side is VERY successful in women's soccer and lacrosse and I believe a few other sports....
